"And the way I can feel you...its...I never want to lose that."
Mohinder wakes with a start and stares up at the ceiling. Those weird dreams again. They need to stop. They're starting to affect his ability to do his job. Well, not that he'd slept much these five years since Sylar blew up. The alarm goes off a moment later and he pulls himself to his feet.
Another day in the lab. Another report due. A meeting with the president that afternoon? He'd have to check his schedule.
He's in the shower when he gets the call. That meeting with the president? Moved up to a breakfast briefing. Mohinder groans and slips on a silver and lapis lazuli ring before he heads down to the waiting limo.

Date: 2011-12-24 05:03 pm (UTC)When it's finished, and both larger men are panting and groaning, Mohinder slips between them. It's caccooing. It feels right. And he'll happily lay there for as long as they both need to recover.

Date: 2011-12-24 05:22 pm (UTC)Perhaps this was how John felt when Mohinder brought his pet into their little oddball family. Matt's like the new family dog for newly weds. Not that newly weds tend to literally sleep with their puppies.
Mohinder wants to baby Matt just the same. It really will be easy to come to love the former cop if only they can hold onto themselves this time around.

Date: 2011-12-24 07:42 pm (UTC)Matt, in the meantime, is equally unconcerned by the idea that they might be stripped of their memories again, whether or not time changes around them. Instead, now that he's coming down out of the afterglow, he's starting to worry about more mundane, immediate things. This world still expects Sylar to be the President -- how will he be able to do that if he can't go outside during the day? Things like that.

Date: 2011-12-24 08:46 pm (UTC)"I'm hungry," he murmurs. "We need to hunt." As for Matt's worry, Mohinder has it taken care of. They have a ring.
And if Sylar decides he no longer wants this job, they can go somewhere else.

Date: 2011-12-24 08:54 pm (UTC)And his appetite is somewhat greater than Mohinder's, as young as he is. Like a newborn baby, he's finding he's nearly always hungry.

Date: 2011-12-24 10:39 pm (UTC)They shower and dress and Mohinder glances over Sylar before he arches an eyebrow.
"I suggest you don't wear that face. Hm. I'm likely wanted as well...but we can take care of anyone that stops us." Mohinder's power certainly goes to his head.

Date: 2011-12-24 10:48 pm (UTC)He makes a mental note to try and find out later and spreads his arms wide once he has his new face on, letting Mohinder inspect him. "Better?"

Unless, of course, they found the local branch of Bennet's little underground railroad, but he's not sure how Matt would take that. He can't say he's not tempted regardless, though. " -- what did you have in mind?"

Date: 2011-12-25 03:27 am (UTC)Hiro is going to be extremely difficult to catch. But that's half the fun.

Date: 2011-12-25 10:25 am (UTC)Hiro's in there. Mohinder can smell him. He's likely waiting for Peter, perhaps trying to figure out where the serum is the President had ordered for use.
It's hard to tell.

Date: 2011-12-25 03:14 pm (UTC)He glances over at Mohinder, wetting his lips with his tongue. "We could walk right through them."
As long as the Indian doesn't get away from him this time and give away their position. Or, assuming he doesn't want to do that, he's fairly certain he can mind control the lot of them to just not see them. He'll be using his telepathy, not whatever power being a vampire affords him, more comfortable with the former than the latter, and they'll still show up on the security tapes after the fact, but it's an option. They'll be long gone before it matters.

Date: 2011-12-25 05:01 pm (UTC)Mohinder's rather proud of him.
They do manage to slip through the grounds easily enough toward the building that Mohinder though he'd worked out for the passed three years. Hiro's down there, in the bowels of the labs. He's picking through vials, carefully, using the distraction Mohinder had caused yesterday to his advantage.

Date: 2011-12-25 05:21 pm (UTC)He, himself, is torn. Half of him wants to crush Hiro's mind to fine powder and drain him dry. The other half wants a fight before dinner.

Date: 2011-12-25 10:50 pm (UTC)"We won't kill him." Killing still bothers him. "Let's see how fast he can run first."

Date: 2011-12-25 11:15 pm (UTC)"I'll make sure he can't teleport away, at least."

Date: 2011-12-26 01:06 am (UTC)He decides to do just that when it's his turn to feed on him and reaches up, tapping the side of his head. "Telepathy's good for more than just reading minds. If I tell him he can't teleport, then he won't be able to."
He doesn't doubt his ability to get into Nakamura's head. Even if he's built up his mental walls over the last few years to protect against intrusion, between the mental prowess afforded to him simply for being what he is and the potency of Matt's blood, it shouldn't be an issue.

Date: 2011-12-26 02:48 am (UTC)Hiro's sudden fear when the man beside the professor ends up being Sylar is sweet. Yes, Mohinder wants him. His fangs have already extended and it makes him shiver to even think about sharing another special with Sylar.
The pounce happens much too quickly. He allows the younger vampire to go first. He'll need the blood more and Mohinder's never been too keen on feeding off of fear. Even vampires can have morals.

Date: 2011-12-26 02:19 pm (UTC)Whimpering, he forces himself to pull away before he's taken too much, wanting to save some for Mohinder, but before he does, before his lips leave Hiro's throat, he reaches into him mentally, wraps his fingers around the other man's power, and tears it out viciously. Nakamura doesn't even scream. He can't. Between the lingering agony of Sylar feeding on him and having his ability forcibly removed, his breath as well as the capacity to cry out have been stolen from him.
Sylar steps back, grinning and traces his tongue over his lips. He catches Mohinder's eyes and nods to Hiro. His turn.

Date: 2011-12-26 03:19 pm (UTC)He wipes his mouth off and looks up at Sylar with a satisfied grin.
"Well, Mr. President-- What is it we're going to do? Stay here? We should go to England. Maybe we can track John or his family down. We need another piece of lapis lazuli."

Date: 2011-12-26 03:43 pm (UTC)It's probably for the best that he feels that way, too. Without Mohinder, half of DC would likely end up missing or dead within a few days.
"We'll have to wait a few days," Sylar says finally. "My staff hasn't seen Nathan in a couple of days already. A few more might make them suspicious. They need to see me. And they need to be assured that I'm still me and not someone pretending to be me. Or that there's not someone pulling my strings."
He and Parkman can stage a debriefing with the Haitian present. He'll make sure the latter doesn't use his ability to accidentally out him and Matt can fill out paperwork afterwards to make it look official. After that, it shouldn't be hard to fake some intel on something in London the President wants to look into personally or some foreign dignitary he's supposed to meet to give him a reason to be in London. From there, they can take a night flight to Heathrow, as unpleasant as that will likely be for the both of them, and he'll make a couple of public appearances as Nathan once they're there, just to sell the show. It's complicated, sure, but it's better than one or both of them ending up flayed alive on some government scientist's table.
He fails to consider the fact that Mohinder is still a wanted man and, by this point, likely on the no-fly list if nothing else.
