The whole thing is actually pretty anti-climatic. Hiro and his lost accent (Mohinder finds this to be exceedingly strange and a bit culturally jarring) seem surprised to find them there, first questioning Mohinder over what he'd done to the samples before going slightly glassy eyed at Sylar's suggestiveness.
Hiro's sudden fear when the man beside the professor ends up being Sylar is sweet. Yes, Mohinder wants him. His fangs have already extended and it makes him shiver to even think about sharing another special with Sylar.
The pounce happens much too quickly. He allows the younger vampire to go first. He'll need the blood more and Mohinder's never been too keen on feeding off of fear. Even vampires can have morals.
